HAMLET: Production Meet 2/26/14

DCIM100MEDIAChicago) Redshade Productions had its first production meeting for HAMLET for 2014 at the Chicago Cultural Center. Co-producer Mike J. Marin and actress Jennifer Michels were in attendance to discuss the upcoming April 14 – 18 shoot. The role of GERTRUDE and locations were discussed as well.

The team decided on which scenes to shoot in the spring as well as talked about which scenes to be shot during the summer shoot. The following scenes were chosen to be shot for the Spring Shoot:

 

ACT 3 – SCENE 4: GERTRUDE’s APARTMENT – GERTRUDE confronts HAMLET about his play “The Mouse Trap”. (Partial)
LOCATION: APARTMENT – NIGHT

ACT 4 – SCENE 1: FORTINBRAS & Her CAPTAIN – FORTINBRAS makes her move. (Begining)
LOCATION: Parking Garage – EVENING

ACT 5 – SCENE 2: HAMLET & HORATIO recount the events, encounter OSRIC (Partial)
LOCATION: HALLWAY & MEETING ROOM – DAY

The role of GERTRUDE is in consideration by Jenn Michels.
FORTINBRAS is in consideration by Maria Guzman.
OSRIC is yet to be cast.
CAPTAIN is yet to be cast.

Additional: ACT 5 – SC. 2: ENGLISH AMBASSADOR, TRAILER FOOTAGE, FORTINBRAS & ENG. AMB question HORATIO.

 

THE SUMMER SHOOT:
ACT 1 – SCENE 2: BOARD ROOM – CLADIUS & GERTUDE Marriage announcement INTRO HAMLET.
LOCATION: BOARD ROOM/MEETING ROOM with extras

ACT 3 – SCENE 4 (cont.): The Present Death of POLONIUS

ACT 1 – SCENE 4: MARCELLUS, HORATIO and HAMLET on the watch, meet THE GHOST

ACT 5 – SCENE 2 (cont.): The DUEL betwixt LAERTES and HAMLET/OSRIC & HORATIO (ACTION! ACTION! ACTION!)

CLAUDIUS to be cast
LAERTES to be cast (Under consideration by Jordan Gurneau)
POLONIUS is currently cast
CROWDS needed

Further Production Meetings are scheduled to take place every Wednesday and Saturday beginning next week and will continue up to the Spring Shoot dates.
