A short tribute film to the last of the flip-open cellular phones. This is a patchwork film based on “Citizen Kane” about EW3’s own faulty cellphone he named “Floyd”. Look for it some time soon…
THE FUTURE: A STORY OF BLUE WOMAN
This new sci-fi short will be the screen debut of Ernest M Whiteman III’s literary creation Blue Woman as she travels a post-apathetic America trying to protect a great secret contained within her heirloom backpack.
This short film is currently in pre-production and is slated for a Summer 2017 release.
BOLDNESS AS MAGIC: A DOCUMENTARY SHORT
Highlighting a long-standing elder in the Chicago Native American community. This short documentary will cover the history of an individual’s journey to elderhood in a community apart from the Reservations and the connection shared by many Natives in the Native urban community of Chicago.
Shooting begins soon with a completion date of Late Summer/Early Fall 2017
In addition to the on-going shoot of “HAMLET”, the production of “Drunken Indian” and post-production on “The Final Meeting”, Redshade Productions is sure to be on the leading edge of independently-made short films and documentaries.
